Hey everyone!

Today's song is one from one of my all time favorite artists, Owl City!!!!! They're kind of amazing in my own not-so-humble opinion, and if you enjoy this song even a little, you should definitely check them out! Any who, Fireflies has been a favorite of mine ever since the first time I ever heard it, and even now when it plays on my phone or the radio (which is super rare >.<) I can't help but smile. You'll probably be hearing more of Owl City's songs in the future. Fair warning.

Challenge Day 8: Photograph

Hi everyone! =) Quality isn't as fabulous today unfortunately... Tried to record on my computer again and it's just not very musically gifted apparently... Sad day... Nonetheless, here we go! Today I'm showcasing my watermelon ukulele =) It's a classic style, as opposed to concert style ukulele that I usually use, and has a much more island-like sound. It's a little difficult to tell since the mic doesn't want to pick up the Uke today, but I'll be sure to use it again soon with a better recording device!

Hiya Everyone! =)

Any one else having a bad hair day? Today's song come from my favorite musical, "Wicked." If you're unfamiliar with this show I offer my greatest condolences and encourage you to change that asap. Anywho, it's the story of Wizard of Oz but from the view of Elpheba, aka the wicked witch of the west. It's her backstory and what led her to become "wicked." One line from the movie that kind of describes the entire story is said by Galinda, "Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?" PS: this song is really difficult for me to play on the piano... Always has been... So, try to ignore the focused looks above the camera =) As always, comment and enjoy!

Hi Everyone! Today's song is a special one to me. I wrote it on May 12, 2012 for one of my very best friends, Catey. For a majority of our friendship we've been over 1,500 miles apart, so it was hard to actually know what was going on in each other's lives. This year she'll be marrying a wonderful young man, so in honor of their joy I wanted to share this song with you all. It's one of the few songs I've written, and I haven't played guitar in a LONG time, so I hope you enjoy this one! Comment/share if you'd like! Challenge 1: Titanium

Hello World =)

If anyone else out there loves Aeropostale than you probably know that today is their big "Aero Now" launch. I attended one of the VIP events and absolutely loved their new image. New year, new you. So! I've decided to do something I've been too scared to try for years now and that is to bring my passion for music to the web. The video below is the first day of a challenge I've given myself to upload a video of me singing and playing each day (or each day I remember) and just see what happens. If you like what hear, leave a comment. If you don't, then carry on elsewhere.

PS: Sorry for the crummy sound quality! Don't turn it up too loud, my mic and the piano are still learning to become friends... Will be better next time, hopefully!
